Casey has a love for life
Being born blind has not slowed Casey down. She’s already earned an AA in Human Services and has almost completed her B.A. This year Casey is a familiar sight on her college campus, with her seeing eye dog, Fawn.
Casey enjoys singing and playing the piano, and composes her own songs. She has tried rock climbing and has worked as a volunteer in a nursing home. Casey learned Spanish in high school and her goal is to work with the Spanish community.
Some of Casey’s favorite books on tape are biographies and fictional accounts of the lives of Bible characters. One favorite is the autobiography of Sheila Walsh, a Christian speaker and singer.
Casey’s favorite verse is John 20:29, "...blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."
Casey asked us to tell you, "Thank you for sending me the books. They come in great quantity and keep me reading. I will be praying for Tape Ministries."
